1. What This Website Is

This is a private reference site with no connection to a public office. We do not keep official records, file documents, retrieve records, or conduct official background checks.

Its purpose is to identify Arenac County custodians such as the sheriff, 81st District Court, 23rd Circuit Court, Michigan State Police Criminal Justice Information Center, and Michigan Public Sex Offender Registry. Some pages also display outside research tools.

2. Rules for Using This Site

As a condition of use, you will not:

• Use automated bots or scraping tools against these pages
• Threaten, stalk, intimidate, or harass anyone with information found here
• Interfere with site performance or another visitor's access
• Attempt unauthorized access to any account, system, or data
• Use site content for employment, housing, credit, or insurance decisions
• Violate a local, Michigan, or federal law while using the site

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

Information from this site or a linked tool must not be used to stalk, threaten, harass, intimidate, or unlawfully discriminate against a person. Michigan PSOR data carries specific limits. MCL 28.728c prohibits using registry information to threaten, intimidate, or harass a registrant or another person. The registry supports lawful public awareness, not retaliation or vigilantism.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA and produce no consumer, credit, or background reports. Our advertising partners and this site do not offer tools intended for regulated screening. You agree not to use site content or a linked tool to:

• Set insurance terms or assess creditworthiness
• Evaluate an applicant for housing
• Make a hiring, firing, or other employment decision
• Determine access to licenses, benefits, or government programs
• Carry out any other activity regulated by the FCRA

A person who needs a legally compliant check for a regulated purpose must use Michigan's authorized official channel or a qualified FCRA-compliant provider.

5. No Legal Advice

Site content is not legal advice. General Arenac County record information cannot determine how a charge, warrant, conviction, or Michigan set-aside rule affects one person. Consult a licensed Michigan attorney for advice.

6. No Warranties

All content and services are offered "as is." We make no promise that:

• A partner's search result will be complete or correct
• Every page is free from bugs, errors, or security weaknesses
• Information will always remain accurate, complete, and current
• Access will continue without interruption

Charges, dispositions, set-asides, and access rules change. A page may therefore lag an official source. Nothing published here is an official statement by the Arenac sheriff, a court, Michigan State Police, or another public body.

Links may open sheriff, court, Michigan agency, legal-resource, and outside search websites. We do not control those destinations or accept responsibility for their content, privacy practices, fees, accuracy, or availability. Review their terms before use.

8. Intellectual Property

Text, code, logos, and graphics belong to Arenac County Criminal History or the applicable content partner. They may not be copied, changed, distributed, or adapted without prior written permission.

9. Limits on Our Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, we are not responsible for damages arising from site use, including reliance on our content or a linked service.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold us harmless from claims, demands, or proceedings caused by your site use or violation of these terms, including related legal costs.

11. Governing Law

Michigan law governs these terms, and disputes tied to use of the site must be brought in a court located in Michigan. Official records remain subject to the law that governs their custodian, including the Michigan Freedom of Information Act, MCL 15.231 et seq., court-record rules, and criminal-history reporting under MCL 28.243.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these terms. A revision becomes effective when the updated text is posted here.

13. Cutting Off Access

Access may be restricted or ended at any time and without advance notice.

14. Severability

If one provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining terms continue in effect. The affected provision will be narrowed only as needed to make it enforceable.
